Education

Dr. Kevin Cronin is a board-certified ophthalmologist from Sarasota, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University and his Doctor of Medicine from Wake Forest University. Dr. Cronin then went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida, followed by a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at Corneal Associates of New Jersey.

Dr. Cronin specializes in cataract surgery, corneal transplant surgery, and laser vision correction. He also provides comprehensive ophthalmic care, including dry eyes, ocular allergies, ocular infections, glaucoma, floaters, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.

Achievements

Dr. Cronin has presented at national meetings and has published a number of articles in peer-reviewed ophthalmology journals. During his fellowship, he participated in a medical mission trip to the Philippines in which he performed cataract and corneal transplant surgeries.
